Prepare your documents, which typically include proof of qualifications, employment contracts, or a business plan if you are applying as an entrepreneur. You will also need to provide evidence of your income, health insurance, and accommodation in France.

Application for Long-Stay Visa
Once your documents are ready, you will need to submit a long-stay visa application for the Talent Passport at the French consulate in your country. This involves completing the visa application form, attending a consular appointment, and providing all the necessary supporting documentation.

ARRIVE IN FRANCE
After arriving in France, you must validate your visa online within three months to convert it into a residence permit. You will also need to register with the French Office of Immigration and Integration (OFII) and possibly attend a medical checkup, as well as submit any additional details required by the authorities.

You must provide proof of residence and a recent photograph, along with any additional documents required by the prefecture.
Renewal
If your residence card is for a period of less than 4 years, you must apply for renewal before the card expires. The renewal process requires proof that you are still employed, running a business, or meeting the criteria for the Talent Passport category under which you were granted residence.

Submit renewal requests at least 2 months before the expiration of your current card.
~6-8 weeks
Path to Permanent Residence
After 5 years of continuous residence in France, you can apply for a permanent residence card, which is typically valid for 10 years. This application can also be the first step toward applying for French nationality.
