How we collect, use and protect the personal data you share with World Talents.

Last updated: 07.08.2026

This Privacy Policy explains how World Talents handles personal data collected through worldtalents.com and in the course of our programmes, partnerships and communications.

01Who We Are

WORLD TALENTS, UNIPESSOAL LDA ("World Talents", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed through worldtalents.com. Our registered address is Tagus Park, Núcleo Central, Escritório 269, Av. Prof. Dr. Cavaco Silva, 2740-122 Porto Salvo, Portugal.

02Data We Collect

Information you provide directly: name, email address, country of residence, current role or institution, links you share (e.g. LinkedIn), and the content of your message or application.
Information collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, referring URL, and similar analytics data collected through cookies and comparable technologies (including Google Analytics).

03Why We Process Your Data

To respond to your enquiry and assess applications to our programmes (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering one).
To send you information and updates you have requested (consent, withdrawable at any time).
To operate, secure and improve our website and services, and to understand how it is used (legitimate interests).
To comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).

04Sharing Your Data

We share personal data only with service providers acting on our instructions (hosting, database, email delivery and analytics providers), with partner institutions where you have asked us to make an introduction, and with authorities where required by law. We never sell your personal data.

05International Transfers

Some of our providers operate outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are protected by adequacy decisions or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

06Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, and thereafter for as long as required to meet legal or accounting obligations or to defend legal claims. Enquiry and application records are typically retained for up to five years.

07Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, restriction of or objection to processing, and data portability; and you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact contact@worldtalents.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in Portugal, the CNPD.

08Cookies & Analytics

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site, and analytics cookies to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work as intended if you do.

09Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transport, access controls and restricted internal access, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
